Job Overview
Function
Responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of Nizari PFCU.
Administrative
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining office supplies and ensuring the office remains organized and well-maintained.
- Planning events/parties (AGM, Employee/Board events) and meetings.
- Communicating announcements, anniversaries, birthdays and any Nizari wide internal communications.
- Manage board meetings and maintain board minutes and attendance.
Record Keeping
- Maintains vital employee records.
- Ensure all records are kept up to date.
- Maintain all records for compliance as per regulations (ACA, Works Compensation, etc.).
Reporting
- Prepare and present reports on general HR activities to the Board.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.).
- Ensure policies are reviewed and presented to the Board annually.
Recruitment
- Manage the process of recruitment, submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates, scheduling job interviews, background checks, eligibility verification and overall hiring process.
- Prepare and conduct orientation and training sessions for new employees.
Training
- Develop training on day-to-day etiquette in all manners of communication with other employees and Nizari members.
- Conducting HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars for all employees ensuring everyone is well-informed of human resource policies and programs.
- Plan programs and processes designed to improve employee welfare and retention.
- Develop programs for performance improvements, employee recognition, career development and succession plan.
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices, trends, regulatory changes, new technologies, talent management and employment law.
HR
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their inquiries.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Handle disputes, disciplinary matters and conduct timely investigation.
- Assisting with performance appraisals and corrective actions.
- Update job descriptions of all the departments in coordination with department heads.
- Administer ADP and benefits plan (compensation, 401K, health/dental insurance, etc.).
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- SHRM-CP a plus

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Nizari’s HRIS systems.
